Writer Tom Dott joined Team Gustare in the Test Kitchen for a summer cooking journey that he detailed in his “Sizzling Summer” article in Edible Cape Cod. Dott wrote that Catherine and Dave’s passion for European-inspired gourmet cooking shows in how they “work tirelessly to create recipes available to anyone who wants to delve into something a lot more special than the average store-bought bottles.” That passion is reflected in the many recipes developed by Catherine and the Test Kitchen to help home cooks find their own gourmet standards for excellence, thanks to the quality extra virgin olive oils and traditional aged balsamic vinegars sourced by Gustare.
On March 1, Chatham-based Gustare Oils and Vinegars will move to the east end of Main Street. The new location at 400 Main St. is “almost a homecoming,” according to Dave Ferraresi and his wife Catherine, the company’s co-owners.
