AUTUMN CULINARY ADVENTURES IN ITALY
Catherine Ferraresi, Co-owner of Gustare Oils & Vinegars recently traveled to Europe during the autumn harvest season. She attended an informative, full day cooking class at the Culinary Institute of Bologna (CIBO) (http://cookingclassesinbologna.com/) seeking inspiration for recipe development in Gustare Test Kitchen. Catherine’s desire was to learn the traditions of Bolognese cuisine enhanced with premium olive oils and aged balsamic vinegars.
On March 1, Chatham-based Gustare Oils and Vinegars will move to the east end of Main Street. The new location at 400 Main St. is “almost a homecoming,” according to Dave Ferraresi and his wife Catherine, the company’s co-owners.
